Workplace Safety

Act responsibly and maintain a safe workplace.

AppFolio is committed to providing employees with a healthy, safe and productive work environment. We are each responsible for using good judgment, including reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions that can result in work-related injuries, illness or risk to the Company. We don’t tolerate violent behavior or bringing weapons on Company property or to Company events. Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. IT Security

Workplace safety includes protecting AppFolio on the networks that we use everyday, including social media, email and other forms of communication. If you see suspicious activity, private information – or someone attempting to obtain private information – about AppFolio, our products, or people outside of our secure networks, notify the Information Security Team immediately.

 

 

Substance Abuse

We are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The following is prohibited under AppFolio’s Substance Abuse Policy:

 

  • Consumption or possession of illegal substances in the workplace, on company premises, or while acting in the course of your employment with AppFolio.
  • Driving a vehicle while on AppFolio business under the influence of alcohol, illegal, or controlled substances.
  • Selling, purchasing, or distributing illegal drugs or marijuana (even in states where it is legalized for recreational or medical purposes) at any time while on the job.

 

Alcohol Policy

While the use of alcohol is generally discouraged during regular working hours, it may be permitted under specific circumstances. Alcohol consumption is allowed only at Company-sponsored events or functions where it is deemed appropriate by management. Employees are expected to consume alcohol responsibly and maintain professional behavior at all times.

 

  • Consumption of alcohol should be limited to designated events and should always align with Company values and professional conduct.
  • Employees are encouraged to act responsibly and ensure that their alcohol consumption does not impair their ability to perform their job duties or affect workplace safety.
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, whether leaving a Company event or on Company business, is strictly prohibited.
